My server is a HP ProLiant MicroServer Gen 8 orginally shipped with in a G1610T configuration. I have upgraded the processor by a [Xeon E3-1220v2](https://ark.intel.com/products/65734/Intel-Xeon-Processor-E3-1220-v2-8M-Cache-3_10-GHz) I was hoping to find a refurbised [E3 1220L](https://ark.intel.com/products/65735/Intel-Xeon-Processor-E3-1220L-v2-3M-Cache-2_30-GHz) to reduce power consumption, yet those are still a bit costly.

Upgrading the processor requires firmware upgrades of the server:

Attached the required firmware files to be installed via iLO with processor support and hardware service manual with instructions to replace CPU.
