Display was flickering, according to overclock.net forum this was caused by broken capacitors. Mine had two broken 820uF/25V capacitors, next the quest to find a few replacements, and get them replaced.

Thanks to Ed Kikkert I got 1000uF/25V replacement (those are easier to get). Nice bonus of visiting T-DOSE 2012 ;-) they had good talks by the way.
